- Full Technical Description: EYM50AL is an explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof conduit sealing fitting designed for 1/2 inch IMC and rigid metal conduits. This fitting features a male-female threaded connection and is constructed from copper-free Almag 35 aluminum with an epoxy powder coat finish for durability and corrosion resistance. Engineered for use in hazardous locations, the EYM50AL prevents the passage of gases, vapors, or flames between conduit sections. It is suitable for both vertical and horizontal installations and meets UL 886 and CSA C22.2 standards for safety and performance in Class I, II, and III environments.
